Stephen Lindsay has served northern lower Michigan since 1989 and has served the City of Cheboygan for over 15 years, most recently as its civil attorney since February 2010.

Stephen E. Lindsay

Stephen, born and raised in Cheboygan, has been a City attorney since 2010. He graduated from Western Michigan University in 1981 and Toledo College of Law in 1989, where he served as a student senator. He then joined the family practice.

 

Stephen is a former President and Treasurer of the Cheboygan County Bar Association has served as Chairman of the Cheboygan Historical District Study Committee, Vice-Chairman of the Historical District Committee, and Chairman of the City of Cheboygan Zoning Board of Appeals.

 

Stephen’s wife Nancy is employed by Citizens National Bank as its Executive Vice President of Marketing and Community Relations, her daughter Annie graduated from Michigan State University with High Honors in 2015.

Eric L. Villanueva

Eric graduated from MSU College of Law in May 2019. While in law school he participated in the MSU Housing Clinic representing indigent tenants. He interned at Elder Law of Michigan, at Wayne County Prosecutor's Office Mortgage & Deed Fraud Unit, and at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). A long-time resident of Metro-Detroit, he moved to Cheboygan to practice law at Lindsay & Lindsay. He has been licensed to practice law since December 2019.
